Steve Hallmark has nearly 40 years of experience in transmission and distribution; forestry and vegetation management. Mr. Hallmark currently serves as an operations subject matter expert for the California Governor’s Office Operational Observer for PG&E’s wildfire mitigation efforts and Public Safety Power Shutoff activities. Prior to joining Filsinger Energy Partners, Mr. Hallmark led teams at Sacramento Municipal Utility District in both the Transmission and Distribution Management program and Customer Services Operations. With the Transmission and Distribution Vegetation Management program, Mr. Hallmark was responsible for budgeting; regulatory compliance; contract design and enforcement; government and industry liaison; and served in a leadership capacity on vegetation management issues. While leading the Customer Services Operations team, Mr. Hallmark including managing the activities; operations; resources and functions associated with the District contact centers; billing; credit and collections; field; metering; power theft and other related operational functions; determines operational strategies and priorities within the business and allocates resources necessary to ensure exceptional customer service delivery; operational efficiency and appropriate cash flow streams. In addition, Mr. Hallmark has served as a subject matter expert and provided expert witness services related to arboriculture and vegetation management litigation.
