Keturah Nelson has over 20 years of experience consulting in the power and utility industry including the merchant energy, regulated utility and biofuels markets. Ms. Nelson specializes in power market and generating asset analytics and modeling, as well as asset and business valuations. She has experience in commodity price, operations, revenue and cost forecasting, asset valuations, due diligence, litigation support, and data management. She has led engagements performing or reviewing valuations of all types of generating assets and multiple electric and gas utilities across the U.S. markets. Ms. Nelson also has participated in a number of significant restructurings in the power and utilities industry for numerous independent power producers, including the 19th largest bankruptcy in U.S history. In addition, she was appointed interim Vice President of Operations and Officer for an ethanol company during a bank takeover and through the sales process and was responsible for day-to-day operations of the company, including contract analysis, trading and hedging, environmental health and safety, human resources and operations and supporting the sales process and transition to new owners. Prior to Filsinger Energy Partners, Keturah was a Director in the Power & Utilities Valuation group at PwC.
