Filsinger Energy Partners Grows its Management Team in 2020
Filsinger Energy Partners (FEP) continues to grow and successfully completed three key strategic hires to their team this year. FEP welcomed Keturah Nelson, Sujit Bhattacharya and Benson Joe to the Operations and Modeling teams. FEP also promoted Tim Wang to its Senior Management Team.
Keturah Nelson joined FEP as the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director. With over 20 years of industry experience, including eight years at PwC, she brings valuable experience to the FEP team. Ms. Nelson specializes in asset and business valuations, one of FEP’s core services. Focusing on the operations team, Ms. Nelson is excited to continue to build a strong foundation for the future of FEP.
FEP also welcomed Sujit Bhattacharya to the team as an Associate Director. Mr. Bhattacharya has 20 years of industry experience and is an award-winning professional who leverages his skillset in strategic sourcing and contracting to generate value and to deliver key projects. With his strategic and bankruptcy claims experience, he is excited to bring that knowledge to current and future FEP clients.
Benson Joe joined the FEP team as an Associate Director. Previously with ABB and possessing over 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Joe adds modeling expertise to the Market Modeling team. With ABB, he led the modeling team and will continue to lead the FEP Market Modeling team. In addition, he specializes in wholesale power markets price forecasting. He is delighted to lead the FEP Market Modeling team into the future.
Finally, Tim Wang was promoted to Managing Director with Filsinger Energy Partners. Mr. Wang has been with Filsinger Energy Partners for seven years and has been instrumental in the growth of the firm. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Wang has specialized in Filsinger Energy Partners’ power market assessments and asset valuations, providing industry analysis and insights to our diverse client set. Most recently, Mr. Wang has been a key member of our Wildfire Risk Mitigation team, providing risk assessment analysis for utilities’ wildfire mitigation plans. He has also been very involved in our work with the California Governor’s office to help define the policies and regulatory issues facing California electric utilities as they work to envision and implement an energy system of the future.
