  • ​​September 5-7, 2018: Infocast's Texas Renewable Energy Conference. Tim Wang moderated the panel on the market fundamentals, market design issues, transmission planning and other vital elements shaping the future of renewables.

  • October 23-24, 2018: S&P Platts 20th Annual Financing US Power Conference. FEP participated in a variety of sessions and panels comprised of utilities, financiers, developers, and analysts as they examine the state of the power markets from an assortment of perspectives.​

  • November 11-14, 2018: EEI Financial Conference.  Todd Filsinger participated in the Edison Electric Institute’s annual conference for electric company CEOs, CFOs, treasurers, and investor relations executives as well as Wall Street security analysts, fund managers, the rating agencies and commercial and investment bankers.​


  • ​​January 14-16, 2019: Infocast's Projects & Money Conference. Tim Wang participated with the project finance community to connect on the outlook for financing and deal-making opportunities in the energy sector.

  • January 24-25, 2019: S&P Global Platts 19th Annual Caribbean Energy ConferenceTodd Filsinger presented in a panel on grid reliability and resiliency, discussing the crucial role of long-term investment and the economic challenges including budgetary limitations, dependency on imported fuel and energy reform measures to support energy transformation.


  • February 12-13, 2019: S&P Global Platts 18th Annual LNG Conference. Nathan Pollak collaborated with the international LNG market community discussing emerging trends in LNG fueled electric generation, supply, demand, markets, price, and transportation.



  • April 30, 2019: Solar Power Puerto RicoTodd Filsinger presented on the latest technologies and policy trends impacting a market set for 100% renewable energy sources by 2050 as part of the opening panel at the inaugural Solar Power Puerto Rico conference.  The conference was hosted by the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), and their local affiliate Solar and Energy Storage Association of Puerto Rico (SESA-PR).

  • May 13-14, 2019: Skadden Energy & Infrastructure Projects ConferenceTodd Filsinger presented at the annual conference focusing on M&A trends and current opportunities for growth of energy storage, energy financing, energy markets, trade negotiations, Latin America, and tax equity.


  • September 10-11, 2019: S&P Global Market Intelligence Analyst Seminar in Power and Gas Sectors. FEP market modelers participated in the premier analyst training seminar in the energy industry, studying electricity market and pricing fundamentals, credit and risk analysis, asset valuation and project finance.

  • September 26-27, 2019: The 18th Annual Gas and Power Institute, presented by the University of Texas School of Law. Tim Wang participated in the annual conference presenting timely topics relevant to the gas and power industry in light of the changing landscape of rules, regulations, legislation, and environmental requirements. With energy storage costs dropping and renewables on the rise, Mr. Wang questioned whether energy markets will even remain viable in the future.   • October 22-23, 2019: S&P Platts 21th Annual Financing US Power Conference. Tim Wang joined a variety of sessions and panels comprised of utilities, financiers, developers, and analysts examining project finance and the state of the power markets from an assortment of perspectives.

  • January 17-19, 2017: Infocast’s Projects & Money. FEP staff participated in a panel discussion regarding the challenges in the ancillary markets and whether adequate incentives exist to encourage the thermal resource development required to support increased renewable deployment.​​

  • September 18-20, 2017: Infocast’s Texas Renewable Energy Summit. Tim Wang participated in a panel discussion regarding the effects of low power prices in ERCOT on thermal and renewable generation fleets.

  • January 20, 2016: Infocast’s 8th Annual Projects & Money. Todd Filsinger participated in a panel discussion regarding power market development opportunities and performance standards.

  • March 22-24, 2016: Infocast’s Solar Power Finance & Investment Summit. Todd Filsinger discussed the outlook for the power markets and the implications for solar competitiveness.

  • April 18-20, 2016: Platts’ 31st Annual Global Power Markets Conference. Todd Filsinger led a panel discussion titled "Sleuthing Out Investment Value in the Power Markets."

  • May 9-10, 2016: Skadden’s 20th Annual Energy Projects Conference. Todd Filsinger provided a briefing on energy markets.

  • September 19-20, 2016: 3rd Annual Western Power Summit. Todd Filsinger discussed the potential impacts of the Clean Power Plan and the uncertainty surrounding its ultimate implementation.

  • January 21, 2015: UBS Access Conference Call. Todd Filsinger and Tim Wang discussed the outlook for coal-to-gas switching following the latest slide in natural gas prices.

  • January 2015: Infocast’s 7th Annual Projects & Money. Todd Filsinger discussed the power industry’s technology mix and its implications.

  • February 2015: University of Texas School of Law 2015 Renewable Energy Law Conference. Todd Filsinger provided an overview of the power markets in the U.S. during his keynote luncheon presentation.

  • April 13-15, 2015: Platts’ 30th Annual Global Power Markets Conference. Todd Filsinger led a panel discussion regarding the EPA’s Clean Power Plan and its impacts on the power markets, including panelists from Energy Future Holdings, Calpine Corporation, and UBS.
